Criminal Labor Law
Antonio D’Avirro, Pier Matteo Lucibello
Giuffré, 2010.
The monograph analyzes in detail the subjects responsible for safety “within the” private and public company, focusing on their various roles and outlining the tasks and responsibilities that characterize them.
The volume, in the first part dedicated to the “private company, starts from the” analysis of the “employer”, a central figure in this matter, as the primary subject responsible for the protection of workers’ health and safety, and then examines other figures who assume a significant role, such as managers, supervisors, work managers, and coordinators.
Particular attention is given to the “institution of the delegation of functions through which the employer can divest himself of responsibilities, transferring them to the manager or supervisor. Regarding public administration, which is the subject of the second part of the volume, the issue of identifying the employer is first addressed, with the related problems of responsibility of the” top management and the delegation of functions, and then the subjective positions in the most significant sectors of the Public Administration are analyzed in detail. Furthermore, in the field of public procurement, the figure of the person responsible for the procedure is examined in depth, highlighting their powers, obligations, and controversial issues.
